Kristy was born and raised in Portland, OR where she was surrounded in the health and bounty of family, extended family,
"not really sure how, but I know their family" family, etc etc etc.
Her childhood was a simple one made up of playing in the Willamette off of boat houses on Larson Moorage (of the aforementioned
extended family), crawling on pool tables in her grandmother's bar (where the "I'm not sure how" family comes into play),
and, of course, searching for candy in a Sauvie's Island field while the adults shot things with rifles near by :).
12 years of Catholic school education brought her to a level of preparedness and awe inpiring maturity, exemplified
during a house party while her parents were out of town where the yell of "shots fired" left her stating the only logical
decision left, "let's get the F&*# out of here".
In her more developmental years, she lived in Spokane, WA where she attended Gonzaga University. Despite
the mysterious bumps, bruises, and other "myserious" injuries of college, she managed to graduate in four years despite
a semester off for "personal growth".
She graduated from college with a much better G.P.A. and grasp of the real world than her soon to be wife, unfortunately
this didn't keep her from landing in the same vocation and job place for less pay and a crappier schedule.
Of course, who needs a good job when you spend a year pretending like you don't like that cute girl who works day shift
at Oak Grove?
Kristy went on to be the best supervisor Motivated Youth House, a sister program, has ever seen. To this day they
talk of her with wonder and amazement as to how she not only lasted so long in the position, but how they could have possibly
let her leave. "She was just amazing," stated anonymous years later at some mythical gathering. "Not only did
she help every client that crossed her path, she attempted to further their experience with these strange concepts like structure
and reality checks from the adult world. What an AMAZING conceptual supervisor she was."
These days Kristy enjoys time in her new home with Keno, Buster, Latte, Monty, Lu Lu...and - OH Andyi. Between
saving kids from their abusive or just generally useless parents and playing the perfect housewife, she also gardens and thinks
about working out.
